Have upgraded. and can access phpmyadmin. But I can't work out how to configure it to access the database. Any help would be much appreciated.

I don't know how it works so wouldn't be able to help, the phpMyAdmin site might be more useful. And I apologise for not being able to reply to your PM in time.
