Hi

new to the board.

I am running mypp 1.4.4

it is recently been transferred to another server. The problem I am getting is this - i cannot upload an image with a post , when you try to upload an image with a post, you get this message -

The file upload failed. Please choose a valid file and try again. Error details: The attachment could not be found on the server.

I know the image is valid, under the size requirements etc. So I cannot undertand what is causing this. Any advice would be appreciated

Does you allow that file extension on your forum. ?

Is ./uploads/ CHMOD to 777??

Also, please upgrade to the latest release as soon as is humanly possible. You are a running a version that is 4 versions out-of-date, that was released many, many months ago, and you are vulnerable to a serious security issue.

yes , it is a jpg and that is a permitted extension on my forum.

yes chmods are 777

Would you be able to upload it here?? Just so we can be certain the image is OK and isn't the cause.

are there any members who can do an upgrade for me (for payment)?

I have just taken over this board, so am unfamiliar with mybb and dont want to risk messing anything up.

so would happily pay (reasonable amount) for assistance with this.
