Sitemap for Spicefuse SEO
Hello.

I'm using MyBB 1.4.8. Sitemap plugin for Spicefuse SEO not yet. Do you have someone dealing with this plugin ? Indeed, a very urgent and necessary plugin.

Regards.

Why not use Google SEO...?? That's being actively developed and comes with a sitemap generator...

I know that plug-in. But if I use it all the links will be deleted by Google. I can not be ignored.

RE: Sitemap for Spicefuse SEO
A change of URL scheme is always bad but with redirects, the impact can be kept low.

If you don't remove the SpiceFuse RewriteRules from your .htaccess, the old links will continue to work, and Google SEO Redirect will redirect them to the Google SEO URLs, or if you don't want to use those URLs, to the official MyBB URLs.

Look. I am only looking for somebody to do sitemap for Spicefuse SEO. Really is an emergency. Like I said, if all the links I use Google SEO and Google will be deleted by a process that for me would be very troubled.

Spicefuse is a mess, you're digging yourself a hole by being so reliant on it :\

RE: Sitemap for Spicefuse SEO
It's not like you have much to lose:

- less than 500 pages indexed
- pagerank 0
- a sitemap like this http://www.mybbmod.com/sitemap.xml

Spicefuse SEO hasn't seen an update for a long time, and Asad_Niazi (the author) hasn't even visited this board for half a year. There's zero activity in his own board too. Nobody seems to know what happened to him. And his license is restrictive, it does not allow code modifications.

You'll have a hard time finding support for it - you're not the first to request this either. I myself requested similar things too and ended up writing my own plugin, and that's why Google SEO exists today; had Spicefuse SEO and mavericcks Sitemap Generator worked for me from the start, I'd not have spent several months developing my own solution.

RE: Sitemap for Spicefuse SEO
I´ve changed from spicefuse to google SEO with a lot of threads indexed by google and after some time I´ve seen that bots surfing your sitemaps it´s too much lightweight than direct indexing you content...

I´ve thanks spicefuse plugin author, but myBB seo nowadays is like web standards, you can´t ignore it anymore Smile

Yes, but I am not talking about that site. 100,000 in a site close to members, and thousand thread and messages. I thought to use. Thanks anyway.
