RE: Login/Logout problems?? PLEASE READ
I installed a test forum using the same database as the main forum... different table_prefixes ...

The main forum is working fine still, but when I login to the test forum, it only keeps me logged in for one page. (That doesn't make much sense...)

Nothing is wrong with the main forum...

The test forum however, has login issues.
I can login, but as soon as it redirects me back to the forum, it logs me out.

In the admin CP, I can login, but as soon as I try to navigate through the admin CP, it asks, me to log in.

The cookie settings are correct.

Help would be appreciated.

Are the settings the same for the cookies? As in the same directory, or are they installed in a different folder?

The CMS is currently being moved to http://elite-area.com/!

Did you try doing http://idealpromos.com/wordkeeper/testbb/ and seeing if it works like that?

Not saying you have to, though - just a suggestion to see if it works.

No problem, glad I could help!Smile Sometimes, putting 2 of the same forum systems will funk up the settings, since it's both in the same folder and on the same domain.

Quote:(occasionally .www.example.com is needed)

When is that? Because I've been having some trouble with cookies lately, I used this tool:

http://www.dennistt.net/mybb/cookiesettings.php

and it said my current settings are all right... but I'm not sure, it's like my page never cached anything, everytime it enters a new page it downloads all images again (And 'send no cache headers' is disabled in Admin CP)
