RE: Google SEO 0.2 [UNDER DEVELOPMENT]
Updated plugin to version 0.2. It's still BETA, it's still not recommended for production use.

Changes:
- fix wrong table collation bug
- fix parse_url() and redirection issues
- fix bad function name for plugin global_start hook
- fix bad urls generated for nonexistant ids
- add verify for post ids
- add 404 http response option for error pages

This plugin is experimental, you're welcome to test and comment, but don't use it in a production forum.

RE: Google SEO 0.2 [UNDER DEVELOPMENT]
It's still full of bugs / things to do:
- 404 pages are too zealous, every board message gets 404 right now, don't enable the option
- stinky fish with () causes problems (breaks redirect), just -id without punctuation is better after all
- stinky fish should be renamed to something more serious like uniquifier (even though it's really an uglifier)
- oldest thread (lowest id) should be the one to get the clean url, newer ones should get the fish. currently it's random, whichever thread url is updated first get the clean url.
- in the long run there maybe should be a task that cleans out entries for deleted threads. right now this is only done when there happens to be a new thread with the same title as a previously deleted thread
- threads / etc titles made up of only punctuation become Thread--12345, should be Thread-12345

etc. etc.

that's why it's beta software. it's not ready for production yet.

Might want to add a note about this after the link to download it. Toungue Also, I can't wait for this to be done - looks quite promising.

Thanks. I expect the plugin to leave beta status by March 2009, because that is the launch date of the forum I'm working on... Rolleyes ...there is a long way to go.

Quite a long wait, but if this lives up to what is claimed - it should be well worth it.
