Mass emailing
I just upgraded from 1.2 to 1.4 and found the 1.4 is not too bad with new additional features however there are somethings that work perfectly before but not working now.
For example we could put Dear {username} and the username will be to the specific person's username when they recieved the mail..now it doesnt work anymore. The was also another function where you can override the "dont recieved mail from admin" but seems like I could not do that anymore as i have 7000 users and only sent to 5600. |

What would be the point in having the setting to disable emails from admins if it could be bypassed?? The point of the setting is to stop admin emails, if it could be bypassed, why have the setting?? RE: Mass emailing
the point is admin can either get on with it and not email them or they can bypass them if it's important/urgent announcement because mine is a club forum.
Dear {Username} Christmas is round the corner and the Events team have got together to organise a christmas party for all members in the forum. this is what users had recieved..something is kinda screwed in mybb for my site. |

Why not just click the username button when creating the message, it puts it in for you, and does it as it needs to be to work.
