There's nothing wrong with it, you just need an external mail client to send the email (a contact form does not come with MyBB).

You can change that link in the Admin CP --> Configuration --> Settings --> General Configuration --> Contact Email.

is this a part of the email thing or is this gotta do with something else im curious to know, in another thread i noticed someone mentioned about header and email.

No those settings have nothing to do with email. If you are looking for a form so that users can contact you, you need to get Contact form plugin.

Ok great

now i just have the SMTP for CONTACT US to figure out ....

everything else seems to work with out a flaw
