I need to know howt he ignore user feature works. I have a mod who is FREAKING out over a new member and their choice of pet and I really don't want to lose her as a mod over this rediculous thing.

She has a lot to contribute.

Anyway, I want to point out the ignore user feature for her hoping this helps and she can ignore any posts by the new member but it's not quite working. I logged on with a regular member profile, put the 'offending' member on my ignore list but I can still see all posts from him.
Is this because he's a moderator? I only have him as mod in one forum.

Or will the ignore stuff take place once new posts by the ignored user happens?

In 1.2.x, ignored users won't be able to send you PMs. In MyBB 1.4, we added the feature to hide the posts.

Drat~ I was hoping it was able to hide posts.

Do you know if there is an old plugin somewhere? I'm going to go look for one now on the main area of the downloads section. If you know of a member who has one that works well and has it someplace else would you please point me to it?

I'm not ready to upgrade the pet forum to the new software yet. I have the MyPlaza plugin there and the members just adore it. I have it set up like a shopping center for pets. If I upgrade I'll lose it. So I am chosing to wait on the upgrade for a few more months on the pet site.
