Not quite sure if I'm posting in the right forum but anyhow...

I've been looking at mybb tonight and quite like it... The inbuilt portal is a nice idea but I don't find it really doing the job I hoped, maby I'm overlooking the features for but they probably just aren't there...
I am opening a website which will include a forum, photopost, wiki and some other small features. I was hoping I could use the portal as a frontpage to the whole thing, and have some menus like the one at the top of mybboard.net ( "Home" "About" "Downloads" etc.)
Is it possible or are there any alternate portals out there? I am looking at mybb, smf, phpbb, vbulletin and see which one will fit my needs and I've found quite a lot of portals for phpbb and vbulletin (vbadvanced is my current favorite) but when I try to find any mybb portals on google I only got some results about the inbuilt portal.

I know this can all be done with some heavy modification, but I'd rather look at some solutions that are already made... To make my job a bit easier Wink

Looks exactly what I am looking for, hope you will release the beta soon.... Do you have any ETA on it?

And yeah, is this the only project on such a thing? Has no one implemented wordpress, cutenews, etc. for a front page and menu?

There was a Wordpress bridge but it won't work with the latest versions of Wordpress or MyBB.

There always has been mkportal but I don't think they have a stable version for 1.4 yet.

There is also jfusion for Joomla but I'm to sure how far the MyBB part of that is coming.
