@ZingaBurga: I read on the Spicefuse forums (yesterday) that the plugin will be updated for 1.4 over the weekend, but if it's already available for d/l, I would be grateful if you could point me to the download link.

Re: my original post: Initially I thought I'd test the current version to see if it was compatible with 1.4 before upgrading my forums to 1.4 (I planned it for this weekend). Alas it wasn't, although the change in the database insert of the PHP file was straightforward enough for me to edit it slightly so that it should work, but then I got stuck at the Ajax loading bit. Guess there were more changes needed than I thought, so it's best left to the professionals. Smile

i've fixed up a few last bugs in it here the post to download it (no registration needed)

it was updated by et65 and then i fixed up many bugs in it

@ethernet: Thank you for doing the bug fixing and incorporating the uninstall function - I think this is very important!

I still receive the "Loading..." bug when I delete shouts (posted in more detail on the thread) but am not sure if this what others are experiencing as well?

p/s: Just wondering: does your version remove the template insert if the plugin de-activated?

yes all templates are removed i spent about 2 hours getting it to work
the headerinclude was the hardest

i'm not quiet sure how to hide it from guests

i will take a look but i only modifyed install, activate, deactivate, uninstall functions i didn't touch other stuff

edit its a setting in the setting group
