The upgrade script is to assist in updating your old template to be compatible with the latest version of MyBB. Templates made for older versions of MyBB may not be compatible with the latest version of MyBB.

Thanks for this, I just run the upgrade script every time I install a skin that is not directly compatible with MyBB 1.2.12, and it works like a charm. Thanks Smile

I don't get what you mean when you say "manually update the templates yourself"...

I created my forum with 1.2.12, so i never ran the upgrader script...

and also, the theme I want is "grey and blue liquid" but I don't know how to update the templates!

please help!

I ran the upgrade, and did the template updates and all, but still get the error when I try to log out.
Any idea what could be the problem?

I get the same error. I'm using the glass theme. I absolutely love it, so I'm really wanting to fix it...but, I'm such a beginner at this. I have no clue where to start! Any help would be appreciated. Smile
