RE: Admin Permissions Problem
Ok, I am sorry for warming up this "old" thread. But the problem is not solved on my side yet.

I did what suggested in post #2:
Quote:
UPDATE mybb_adminoptions SET caneditaperms = 'yes' WHERE uid = '2'
Result:
Quote:Hits in database: = 0 (in 0.047 sec)

Uhm? I am sure that I edited the correct database! :-)

[2 mins later]

Ok, I think I found the reason, but still don't know how to solve it: I looked into "mybb_adminoptions". Is has two entries:
uid: 0 (yes, yes, yes, ....)
uid: 1 (yes, yes, yes, ....)

Only two entries: UID 0 and UID 1. My Adminuser has uid 2.... (8-o wow)

I am confused. My Adminuser can do everything but accessing "Admin CP -> Users and Groups -> Admin-Permissions"

[2 hours later]

I created a new user and made him an admin (user id 41). Same result. He is not able to access that menu/dialog in the Admin CP. And myPHPadmin does not show any UID 41 in "mybb_adminoptions".

RE: Admin Permissions Problem
Please try the solution in post #7 above. Please remember to change your UID in the query before you run it (the one in the example is 164, so change it to 2).
