Email verification problem

The e-mail verification on my board doesn't send to the user who just registered. Can anyone teach me how to fix it?

Does you allow to send email verification ?

Because with the above test that Matt said, It should work fine then..

AdminCP > Configurations > Settings > Registration > and please verify that you selected the "send email verification" from the drop down list .

yes! I allow it to send email verification.
I'm still observing/testing it.

well same problem I have too, and posted on my treat but seems didn't get any answer which is helpfull

try to switch on SMTP instead of PHP

SMTP hostname : your web ip, you can get it from : run > cmd > ping google.com (as example when you want to get google's IP)

SMTP port : 25
SMTP username : cpanel username
SMTP password : Cpanel password
let others as default, and click "Save Settings"

also the forget password doesnt send any email to my e-add.

you have setup SMTP server correctly? hmm I really don't know, but you may contact your host for this, there you may get more help

Also if you are running Free host service, then it is causing due to this...
