Since this is Dennis' thread, I will let him do as he pleases (maybe add 'Reporting security issues is fine') and I will continue to idle in it. Thanks for your input. |

How are we to report security issues if Developers etc refuse to answer PMs? or would it be better if we just reported them on the open forum? I would like to think if i see a developer online that they would wanna know about a possible security problem asap. PM is usually the quickest way is it not? |

I've just replied to your PM so it's not as simple as to say that we are not interested in talking one-on-one. We just want to be doing it for the right reasons, for things that really should be kept private (for how ever long it needs to be). A user asking us how to change themes does not need to be private. |

Cant believe people actually pm you guys for that. sheesh. They would probably get alot quicker answers that may help out other users as well by posting questions like that in the themes and or correct forum for whatever it may be. |

Exactly.
![]() Glad you understand, it is helping users too. Often at 4am I am not awake, and if I am, I will not be in the mood to respond to general support issues.

Thankfully there is developers from around the globe as well. I am very thankfull i dont have support questions at that time on my site. Granted i did get one elsewhere asking about how to install a arcade for thier mybb forum. Yes sent by pm. Unfortunate for them i didnt see that pm for a few days. Probably why it is not good to pm other users either. Best to use to forum here for what the issue is related to. |
