While downloading MyBB, I noticed that the "GZIP" download link gives a .zip file instead of a .gzip file.
lol - I didn't realise when I downloaded 1.4 for the first time. I can confirm this from the release date.
This is intended. Our gzip compression class (a 3rd party class) is screwed up and creating a corrupt file, so it just serves up .zip for now.
