This is perhaps a silly question.
Well i sort of know it is really but i will ask anyhow.

Is there a mod/plugin to set a maximum size for images posted. Not avatars.
I am finding members are posting full size pics from there digi cameras etc without resizing. Even though i offer a resizing tool on my forum.
Some people hehehehe.
Basicly i would like to have a max image size set so they cant upload a file bigger than X. File size would also be a good component to mod/plugin.

Thanks DAMINK
Admin CP --> Attachments --> Attachment Types --> *Choose attachment type and click 'Edit'* --> Maximum Size

That will allow you to change the attachment size for each file type.
I was talking about images posted on threads not attachments.

I know that.. but you continued to say "File size would also be a good component to mod/plugin."

If you're requesting modifications/plugins, there is a separate forum for that. This is General Support.

http://mods.mybboard.net/view/image-resizer-&-optimizer
Two plugins that may do what you want.

Moved.
I did check the plugin area and could not find one.
I did search the forums and could not find an answer.
I thought perhaps there was a method within C/P but obviously by moving this thread to where it now resides and you being a mod i am wrong.
I am aware you can edit file size through area you specified however the primary question was image size, not file size.
Sorry if i made my post confusing for you.
Thanks for your advise.
I guess i will have to edit my image hosting script to resize to a set size then.
Just thought it would have been a tidy method to do this from MyBB.

UPDATE

Sorry i just checked your links. Seems i did not search well enough.
Thanks again for your help.
