I have installed the download page pug-in but am having some problems with uploading. I have the sections down and everything but when it comes to uploading, it says that the filetype is not supported, and I've tried almost every type of file I can think of

I looked through the ACP to find if it was a setting I had to change, but all the links I have relating to this are the "Moderation Queue > Downloads" and "Downloads > Add Category // Modify/Delete"

I'm thinking maybe theres a link I am missing?

I have the same problem with this plugin.

From memory, have you checked your Attachment Types? I think it pulls the allowable file types from there.

So if I disallow attachments, this doesnt work?

No - check that the file types you want to upload are specified in AdminCP -> Attachments -> Attachment Types.

Now Im getting an error saying it can't access the folder.
I guess I have to change the chmod?

Yeah.. that's it. Change chmod and it works.
