Just did a test run on my linux pc, converted our vbulletin database over to the current mybb version. Passwords were successful in moving over too.
I did have one or two questions. How do we get the attachments and avatars to move over? I see the option to move them is available in the merge scripts. Do we have to manually move the images from the vbulletin "uploads" folder to the mybb "uploads" folder, same with avatars? Do we need to setup some paths prior to converting?
What`s the procedure for a successful attachments and avatar move? That was the only snag I found.
Apart from that, love mybb already. Managed to customize the default theme to our site so that we have our own unique theme.
Going to get aquainted for a few more days, then we`ll move over for real. I`m sure our members will love it.
