In MyBB you can add additional fields in member´s profile. It a great feature to get information about user´s hobbies etc. But why can´t i search for this content.
I believe you can search for it in the Admin CP, but it hasn't been integrated with the public memberlist at this point.

Hallo, thanks for your answer. In MyBB you can create optional fields in member´s profile. I have created some fields, like hobbies and so on. In Admin-CP you can search for members and you can see the optional fields in the search form, but it´s impossible to search members for example with hobby jogging
It is possible...
Admin CP > Search for Users > *Scroll down*
You should see a section in the form called "Custom Profile Fields are Like.." which has all the custom profile fields in it.
Or do you mean you want normal users (who don't have access to the administrator control panel) to search the custom fields too?

Thanks for your answer. You are right, i can see the costum profile fields, but the fields are not searchable. I use the german version von MyBB 1.29.

Ok, textareas are not searchable, but textfields. I try a little bit more. Thnaks
