Technically tmhai yours is not a directory but instead a topsite which requires a reciprocal link. This thread is about Directories.
btw..I tried to add mybbcentral a couple months ago...you didn't approve the site after about 2-3 days so I pulled the code. I just signed up again as "labrocca". Maybe you can be a little quicker about the approval please. Until you approve the site has a dead image which slows down the page load...very unprofessional and annoying.
Why not have an official one then one that's owned by a random person. vB, IPB and PHPBB have official ones why can't MyBB have one then?

PS: Labrocca is right about forcing a reciprocal link, this is a link farm set up that can do more harm than good for those listed, reciprocal link directories are LINK FARMS THAT CAN GET YOU BANNED FROM GOOGLE !!!!

In that PM, I told him that I had a site that was promoting MyBB -- for free. However, even though it's free for people to submit their MyBB forum to the directory, the cost of paying for the hosting on a dedicated server ($95.00) is being flipped by me. So, essentially, I'm paying $95.00 per month so people can promote their forums for free. (Hence the ads on the directory.. if you're on shared hosting and pay a few bucks per month to host a site, then there's no need for ads, right?)
Rather than politely requesting to be added to the first post, people are complaining that their site was not added in the first place, even though these people made no effort to contact the staff at MyBB with any kind of free advertising proposal in the first place.
That aside, if there's going to be nothing but complaining about this, then please lock this thread / lock this thread and delete all posts in it except for the first post / or remove this thread entirely. However, if there's going to be a good community spirit of link building / link exchanging / and offering of free services to promote forums, then let's continue!
It was a courtesy from Destroyer to have this thread created. I'm not compelling Destroyer to keep this thread in existence, and I plan to reach the top 10 in Google with or without this thread to help me. To me, it seems that other operators are taking his courtesy toward me as a direct insult toward themselves. There was no intention of malice when this post was created; the intention was to offer free forum promotions.
what about mineeeeeeeeeeeeee :/ only joking, it would be good to have a list of these websites stickied and it would also be a good idea to have all the sites do a link exchange with each other if your willing to do that.. i have plenty of spots for links down the left side where the sponsored links are which i can change.
