This plugin informs users with a banner at the top of your board whenever they have any unread messages.

It will display a "You have unread private messages" message by default, which will stay there as long as the PM hasn't been read yet.

Installation:

Just download the unreadpm.php file and put it in your /inc/plugins folder. Activate it from the plugin manager of your admincp and you're good to go!

You can change the message along with the table background and border colours from the admincp.

Does it stop the JavaScript alert for new PM's?

No, the JavaScript pop-up will appear once. Because it won't appear again when you've closed the pop-up the Unread PM Notification was made.

Nice mod

Have problems since newest update forum. This plugin now shows itself's 3 times when there is a personal message in stead of just one time. Are there more people with the same issue?

Please open up your header template and remove any duplicates of the {$unreadpmmsg} var.

By the way, I believe it's caused by (multiple times of) reactivating the plugin.
