I use the latest MyBB version 1.29
I ran all my recount tools. These shots below explain what I seen after a succesful run according to my admin acp when I was running the tools. All the proceeds went fine for me.
Just wondering, does this forum have any sub forums within it?
The "most active forum" does not take in to account the counters from sub forums. This would make it inaccurate because it would just show the outer most category in all cases if it did.
Well then wouldn't the index page be wrong? The index page takes into account the sub-forums, the stats page doesn't. It'd be nice to see that follow thru one way or the other. As long as they are the same imo. Personally I'd like to see the stats page reflect the entire number for itself and everything below it because it's all part of the 1 forum.
Thanks
Yes, however if that is done - your top level forums/categories will always be the "most popular forum" which kind of make the system useless.
I'm open to feedback or suggestions on how to change it though.
Chris
Now Jesse, I've given you my URL before O.o

And thanks for the nice comment btw. I have several reasons for not putting it here. Just don't want to go threw them again, not the thread for it anyhow. If someone works at finding it, more power to them

besides, if they're not a drummer they really have no place at my forum. It's not really a general type of public forum anyhow.
Chris, I wish I had a better suggestion. It's a rock and a hard place so to speak because you want to keep the "most popular forum" option available.. To me I think the index should count all the subforums as it does already. That just seems correct and natural for me anyhow. However, if you needed to say make the index page to let each forum reflect the true value of itself, then that's ok too. That would also allow for "most popular forum" to be non-conflicting. But I must say, I like the larger posting numbers all the sub-forums going into the main one give you..
Again, which ever one is ok with me even though I have a preference. Main goal is to make themk reflect the same so it doesn't look like the software is mis-reading numbers and have a bug(A member of mine brought this to my attention and that's how I found out, he thought it was a bug). Maybe someone else has a good idea here

I'm sorry I can't think of more.
