Hi,

I'm new to your application and I'm truly shocked when I looked at the database structure Sad

Why in the world would you put Captcha info in the database, there are faster solutions for this you guys. Ever heard of $_SESSION or $_COOKIE ?

Can this be changed in the next release ? This board is cool, but this shocked me for a minute :|

Greets,

CodeX
Uhhh yes I've heard of $_SESSION and $_COOKIE. What's your problem?

Do you think we just randomly put information in the database for no reason. It's freakin obvious that it's their for a reason.
I think it is much secure in the db instead of session and cookie.
spam bots cant read mysql db.
spam bots can't read regular variabeles too, or can they ?

I don't have a problem, and I didn't mean it for you to get upset or something. Sorry Wink
Codex16, cookies can be read by spam bots. Captchas are stored in the database for a purpose. There's nothing to worry about them being in database. Infact, it's a good thing that they're stored in DB.
