The quick reply also does not save the reply position. This makes sense in the linear mode but in threaded mode it seems like the quick reply should come under the current reply.

The problem with making the quick reply threaded under the last post in the thread is that in a thread with 50 quick replies, the list of posts in the threaded mode will be indented so much you'll need a 60" screen to see it all without scrolling.

I've split this into a separate thread in the Suggestions forum, because right now I don't think it's considered a bug because it was designed that way.
